Traceability is the ability to track and document the complete history of a product throughout its life cycle, from manufacturing to end of life. It includes the origin of materials, production processes, maintenance interventions, repairs and modifications. The DPP (Digital Product Passport) is the regulatory tool that enables this digital traceability. Verisav ensures complete product traceability through its integrated DPP management system. Traceability has become a major issue for manufacturers, retailers and consumers. It enables product authenticity to be guaranteed, usage to be tracked, warranties to be managed effectively and regulatory compliance to be ensured. In the context of the ESPR regulation, traceability is mandatory for many product categories from 2027. It includes traceability of materials used, manufacturing processes, maintenance and repair interventions, as well as information on end of life and recycling. Digital traceability via the DPP offers many advantages: instant access to information, real-time updates, secure sharing between different stakeholders in the value chain, and automatic compliance with regulations. Verisav offers a complete traceability solution that integrates with existing manufacturer systems and enables centralized management of all product life cycle data.
