WTY (Warranty) refers to the standardized vocabulary for digital warranty management in the DPP context. It enables structuring warranty information (duration, conditions, coverage) in an interoperable manner. Verisav uses the WTY vocabulary to automatically activate warranties, generate digital certificates and manage warranty claims in compliance with regulations. The WTY vocabulary is a standard developed by Verisav to normalize warranty data representation in the DPP. It defines a consistent data structure that enables encoding of all warranty-related information: warranty type (legal or commercial), duration, start and end dates, application conditions, coverage (parts, labor, transport), exclusions, claims procedures, etc. This standardized vocabulary ensures interoperability between different systems and enables smooth exchange of warranty data between manufacturers, retailers, repairers and consumers. The WTY vocabulary integrates seamlessly with other Verisav vocabularies (DPP, RMA) and complies with international standards such as Schema.org and GS1. It enables automatic generation of regulatory-compliant digital warranty certificates, real-time warranty validity tracking, automated warranty claims management and storage of all this information in the DPP for complete traceability. Verisav offers a complete WTY vocabulary implementation with validation tools, APIs for integration and detailed documentation. This vocabulary facilitates compliance with European and French warranty regulations and improves customer experience by making warranty information easily accessible via the DPP.
