Scan the product QR code again. Your details are pre-filled so you can report the fault in seconds. You then receive repair instructions and can track the case in your Verisav account.
I lost my machine’s QR code — how do I recover the history?
History stays bound to the product identifier (serial number or similar). Sign in to Verisav, find the device, then generate a new QR code for the same identifier to restore the full history.
Is Verisav free for consumers?
Yes. Verisav is free and unlimited for consumers: product tracking, warranties and Digital Product Passport information at no cost.
What is the Digital Product Passport (DPP)?
The DPP is a structured digital record linked to a physical product via a unique identifier (often a QR / GS1 Digital Link). It exposes public and restricted data for traceability, ESPR compliance and circularity.
When does the battery passport become mandatory?
On 18 February 2027 for EV, LMT and industrial batteries > 2 kWh placed on the EU market (Regulation (EU) 2023/1542). Textiles, electronics and furniture follow later via ESPR delegated acts (~late 2028/2029 and 2029–2030).
What information is in a DPP?
Unique ID, manufacturer, composition, use and repair guidance, intervention history, certifications, sustainability data and end-of-life instructions. Some fields remain restricted to authorised roles.
Is Verisav compliant with EU regulations?
Yes. Verisav is built for DPP/ESPR and Battery Regulation readiness, with product identity, access rights and after-sales linkage for a living passport.
How do I create a DPP for my products?
Load your catalogue into Verisav (product and compliance data), generate the QR / GS1 Digital Link, publish the passport, then track scans and after-sales events on the same identifier.
Is the DPP mandatory for manufacturers?
Rollout is category-based: battery passport from 18 February 2027; textiles after a delegated act (~late 2028/early 2029); electronics and furniture around 2029–2030. Verisav lets you prepare now.
Where can I generate a product QR code?
In Verisav once the product data is entered. Free tools are also available at tools.verisav.fr.
How does the DPP fit distributor after-sales?
At sale, the passport is activated and linked to the customer. Each claim opens already bound to the product ID — photos, messages and history stay on the same passport, including multi-store.
Can I manage multiple stores?
Yes. Verisav centralises after-sales and DPP traceability in a multi-store dashboard with consolidated KPIs.
How does the DPP help repairers?
The passport unlocks identity, history, manuals and warranty. With Verisav you read those fields when a job opens and document the repair — a living passport aligned with the right to repair.
Can repairers update the product passport?
Yes. Beyond reading, Verisav records intervention events (diagnosis, parts, repair) on the same product identifier.
How do I join the Verisav network?
Go to the Repairers page and submit the form. Our team reviews your application and guides onboarding.
What is the Verisav professional space?
The B2B platform for manufacturers, distributors and repairers: create and activate DPPs, GS1 Digital Link, ESPR / battery passport compliance, and after-sales digitization on the same product identity.
How do I access the professional space?
Fill in the form on the Professional space page or book a demo. After validation you activate your account and open the dashboard for your role.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Verisav complies with GDPR and uses encryption and access controls to protect personal and product data.
Who can see DPP data?
Some data is public via the QR. Sensitive fields are restricted to authorised roles (manufacturer, authorities, approved operators) according to passport access rights.
What is a Verisav RDF/OWL vocabulary?
A set of standardised classes and properties to describe the DPP, after-sales (RMA) and warranties (WTY). Published on LOV with persistent W3ID URIs for system interoperability.
Where can I find DPP, RMA and WTY vocabularies?
On the Research and Vocabularies pages, via https://w3id.org/verisav/dpp (and rma / wty), and in Linked Open Vocabularies (LOV).
