A repairer is a qualified professional who performs repairs on products. They may be independent, work for a repair network or be employed by a manufacturer. Repairers must have the necessary skills and certifications. Verisav manages a network of qualified repairers, connects them to consumers, provides them with access to technical information from the DPP and documents their interventions to ensure traceability and service quality. Repairers are essential stakeholders in the circular economy, as they enable extension of product lifespans and waste reduction. They may be independent repairers (working for themselves), repairers belonging to a repair network (franchised or affiliated), or technicians employed by a manufacturer or retailer. Regardless of their status, repairers must have the necessary technical skills to work on products, and often specific certifications (particularly to work on products under warranty). The right to repair, strengthened by the AGEC law and ESPR regulation, guarantees independent repairers' access to spare parts, tools and technical information necessary to perform repairs. The DPP plays a key role in this approach, as it centralizes all necessary technical information: repair manuals, technical diagrams, spare parts lists, history of previous repairs, etc. Verisav facilitates repairers' work by giving them access to all this information via the DPP, connecting them to consumers who need repairs, and automatically documenting their interventions to ensure traceability and service quality.
